How to accept an invite to a business's team
Invited to help manage a business on Kerko? How to accept the invitation from the email, with or without an account, and what to do if it expired.

Someone has invited you to help with their business profile on Kerko: to update the opening hours, upload photos or just see the analytics. This is the guide from your side, as the invited person. Jane Doe has just received an invitation from her brother, John, to run Doe Bakery over the weekend.
The journey, step by step
Open the invitation email
The subject is Ftesë në Ekip - Kerko.com (Team invitation) and it says who invited you, to which business and with what role. Click Prano ftesën (Accept invitation).
Check the invitation details
The Team Invitation page shows the email, your Role and when it Expires.
Sign in or create an account
No account? Click Create Account: the invitation's email is filled in for you. Already have one? Click Sign In. Use the same email the invitation was sent to.
Click "Accept Invitation"
Once signed in, click Accept Invitation. Invitation Accepted! appears and Kerko takes you to the business dashboard.

She has no account, so the page offers sign-in or sign-up:

What your role lets you do

| Manager | Edit the details and invite users |

Jane is a Manager: she can change the weekend hours and upload photos, but she can't remove John from the team.
After accepting
The business appears under My Businesses in the menu under your name. From there:
- Update the opening hours and payment methods
- Upload photos and a logo
- Protect your account with two-step verification

Frequently asked questions
How long is the invitation valid?
7 days. After that, ask the person who invited you to resend it.
The invitation says it's for a different email address. Why?
An invitation works only for the email it was sent to. Sign in or sign up with that email, or ask for a new invitation to the address you use.
I already have a Kerko account with another email. What do I do?
Ask the owner to send the invitation to your account's email. An invitation can't be accepted from an account with a different email.
I don't want to accept. What do I do?
Just ignore it. The invitation expires by itself after 7 days and gives you no access unless you accept it.
