How to set your opening hours on Kerko

"Are you open on Sunday?" "Do you take cards?" These are the questions customers ask most, and the answer should be on your profile before they pick up the phone. On Kerko you set them yourself and they go live straight away. John Doe closes his bakery on Sundays and has just started taking cards.

The business dashboard is in Albanian, so we quote each label as it appears, with a translation.

The journey, step by step#

1. Open the business from My Businesses

   Click your name at the top right, choose My Businesses and open the business.

2. Click "Ndrysho Informacionin" and open the Përshkrimi tab

   Ndrysho Informacionin (Edit information) opens the editor. The Përshkrimi (Description) tab holds the short description, opening hours and payment methods.

3. Set the hours day by day

   Under Orari i Punës (Opening hours), choose the opening and closing time for each day. For days off, tick Mbyllur (Closed).

4. Tick your payment methods

   Under Mënyrat e Pagesës (Payment methods), tick every method you accept: Para në dorë (cash), Kartë (card), Transfer bankar (bank transfer), PayPal or Kriptomonedhë (crypto).

5. Click "Ruaj Ndryshimet"

   Click Ruaj Ndryshimet (Save changes). Ndryshimet u ruajtën me sukses (Changes saved) appears and the profile shows the new hours.

Ruaj Ndryshimet

The short description#

At the top of the same tab is Përshkrimi i Shkurtër (Short description), up to 500 characters. Say what you do, for whom and what sets you apart. For example: "Family bakery in Prishtina since 1998. Wood-fired bread every morning, pies and cakes to order."

What goes live now and what waits#

Opening hours, payment methods, the description, phone, email and website go live straight away. The name, address and official registry details wait for approval by Kerko's team. The full list: How to update your business profile.
