How to contribute to Kerko and earn points
Suggest missing details on business and person pages, see how points are counted and how you get onto the contributors list.

On this page
Kerko takes businesses from the official registry, but the registry doesn't know the bakery down the road has a new phone number, or when it opens at weekends. You do. Suggest it in one click, our team checks it and everyone finds the business more easily. Every contribution earns points and gets you onto the contributors list.
What you can suggest

Find the business or person
Search by name, NUI or owner's name and open the profile.
Click the pencil or a + button
The pencil sits next to each detail. Missing details show under Add what's missing as small + buttons.
Sign in if you aren't already
Kerko asks you to sign in or create a free account, then brings you back to the same form.
Type and send
Enter the new value and click Send suggestion. The button turns into Sent for review · +1 point.
Wait for approval
When our team approves it, the detail shows on the profile and you get +5 points.
How points are counted

Person pages: with care
On a person's page you can fix the name, their role at a business or add a business they are missing from. Photos and links are accepted only with a source: the link where the person published them, such as LinkedIn or the business's website. We don't accept personal phone numbers or emails. Anyone can ask for the photo and links on their page to be removed: see How to request removal of your name.

Frequently asked questions
How many points do I get for a suggestion?
+1 point when you send it and +5 more when our team approves it. If it is rejected, the first point is taken back.
Why didn't my suggestion show up right away?
Kerko's team reviews every suggestion before it goes live, so the data stays accurate. We notify you when it is approved.
Does the contributors list show my full name?
No. It shows only your first name and the initial of your last name, for example "John D.". You can hide yourself from the list on your profile.
Can I add a person's phone number?
No. On person pages we accept only websites, social profiles and photos the person made public themselves, with the link where they appear.
