How to request removal of your name
Ask Kerko to remove your name from a business owners list, the photo and links from your person page, or a closed business.

Kerko publishes businesses and their owners as they appear in the public ARBK registry. Still, there are good reasons someone may not want their name shown: they are no longer an owner, the details are wrong, or for private reasons. There are three different requests for this. John Doe sold his share in a made-up business and wants his name to stop appearing there.
Which request do you need?
| You want to... | Where to find it | What happens once approved |
|---|---|---|
| Remove your name from the owners of one business | The business profile, next to your name: Request name removal | The name is replaced with "I fshirë" (Removed) on that business only |
| Remove the photo and links from your person page | Your person page, at the bottom: Request removal of photo and links | The photo and links are removed and can't be suggested again |
| Remove a business from Kerko | The business profile: Request removal of this business | Our team decides whether the business comes off Kerko |
The journey: removing your name from a business
Open the business profile
Find the business and go to the Owners list.
Click "Request name removal"
The small link sits next to your name.
Enter your reason and email
The reason needs at least 10 characters. The email is only used to tell you the decision. Your name is optional.
Send the request
It goes to our team. Nothing is deleted automatically.
Get the decision by email
If approved, the name is replaced with "I fshirë" (Removed) on that business. The share stays, so ownership still adds up to 100%.
Owner data removal request
You are requesting removal of the name "John Doe" from the profile of "Doe Bakery L.L.C." on Kerko.com. Our team reviews every request, and nothing is deleted automatically.
Removing the photo and links from your person page
Person pages list the businesses where someone is an owner or representative. Contributors can add public photos and links only with a source. If you don't want them shown, click Request removal of photo and links at the bottom of your page. Once approved, the photo is deleted, the links are removed and nobody can suggest them again. The businesses and roles from the registry stay.
Removing a business
For a closed business or one registered by mistake, use Request removal of this business on its profile. If you manage the business, the request is also in your dashboard, under Zona e Rrezikshme (Danger zone). For the official closure procedure see Closing a business in Kosovo.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to request removal?
No. The form only asks for your reason and your email, where we tell you the decision.
Is my name removed from ARBK too?
No. Kerko mirrors public data from ARBK. Removal on Kerko doesn't change the official registry.
How long does the review take?
Our team reviews every request by hand. We email you as soon as a decision is made.
Why does my name still show on Google after removal?
Search engines can keep an old copy for a while. When Google visits the page again, it sees the version without the name.
