Signed in to Kerko on the office computer, an old phone or a computer at an internet café? Each sign-in stays open for up to 30 days. Your profile shows every device where you're signed in, and you can close the ones you don't recognise with one click. John Doe has just received an email saying someone signed in from Tirana, where he has never been.

The profile page is in Albanian, so we quote each label as it appears, with a translation.

The journey, step by step

  1. Open your profile

Click your name at the top right and choose Profile.

  2. Scroll to "Sesionet aktive"

Under Sesionet aktive (Active sessions), each row is a device: its type and browser, the city, the IP address and when you signed in. The device you're on has the Kjo pajisje (This device) label.

  3. Close the device you don't recognise

Click ✕ (Mbyll sesionin, close session) on that row and confirm with Vazhdo (Continue). That device is signed out immediately.

  4. Or close all the others

Mbyll sesionet e tjera (Close other sessions) signs you out everywhere except here. Dil nga të gjitha pajisjet (Sign out of all devices) signs you out here as well.

  5. Change your password

If someone else got in, change your password straight away so they can't get back in.

What the list looks like

John sees three devices. The computer in Tirana has the Vendndodhje e re (New location) label:

He closes it with ✕. Had it been him on a trip, he would click ✓ (Beso këtë vendndodhje, trust this location) so Kerko stops flagging it as new.

The new location email

When someone signs in from a place you haven't signed in from before, Kerko sends you this email (emails are in Albanian):

Sign-in history

Below the sessions is Historiku i hyrjeve (Sign-in history). Click Shfaq (Show) for the last 20 sign-ins, including failed ones (labelled Dështoi, failed). Many failed attempts in a row may mean someone is trying your password.

On a shared computer

When you sign in on a computer others use too, don't tick Më mbaj mend (Remember me) and sign out when you're done. If you forget, close that session later from your phone, in this list.
