How to reset your Kerko password
Forgot your Kerko password? Get a code by email, set a new password and get back into your account in about two minutes.

It happens to everyone: you haven't signed in for a while, the new phone doesn't remember your password and the sign-in form says the password is wrong. On Kerko you reset it yourself with a code sent to your email, no support ticket needed. Let's see how John Doe does it.
The sign-in pages are in Albanian, so we quote each button as it appears, with a translation.
The journey, step by step
Click "Harruat fjalëkalimin?"
On the sign-in page, under the password field, click Harruat fjalëkalimin? (Forgot your password?).
Enter your account email
Type the email you registered with and click Dërgo kodin (Send code).
Open the email and get the code
Within seconds you get a 6-digit code. It is valid for 15 minutes and only works for that email.
Enter the code and a new password
Type the code, then your new password twice (at least 8 characters) and click Ndrysho fjalëkalimin (Change password).
Sign in with the new password
When you see Fjalëkalimi u ndryshua! (Password changed!), go back to sign-in and log in as usual.

If you'd rather not use a password at all
After three failed attempts, the sign-in page offers Dërgo Magic Link (Send magic link) or Dërgo Kod (OTP) (Send code): Kerko emails you a link or a code and you sign in without a password. You can also sign in with Google or Facebook. Every option: How to sign in to Kerko without a password.
Protect your account better
- Use a password you don't use anywhere else.
- Turn on two-step verification if you manage a business on Kerko.
- On a shared computer, don't tick Më mbaj mend (Remember me) and sign out when you are done.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the reset code valid?
15 minutes. After that, request a new code from the same page.
The code never arrived. What should I do?
Check Spam and Promotions and make sure you used the email you registered with. After 60 seconds you can request a new code.
I signed up with Google. Do I need a password?
No. Sign in with the Google button, no password needed. The same goes for Facebook.
Can I change my password without forgetting it first?
Yes. While signed in, open your Profile, in the Siguria (Security) card click "Ndrysho" (Change) next to Fjalëkalimi (Password) and enter your current and new password.
