How to create a Kerko account
Create a free Kerko account with email, Google or Facebook, verify your email and see what you can do once you are signed in.

You can search every business on Kerko without an account. With one you can do more: verify your own business, suggest missing details, add a business that isn't listed yet and get notified when your contributions are approved. In this guide we follow John Doe, the owner of a made-up bakery in Prishtina, as he opens his first account.
The sign-in and registration pages on Kerko are in Albanian, so we quote each button as it appears, with a translation.
What you need
- An email address you use regularly, or a Google or Facebook account.
- About two minutes.
The journey, step by step
Open the registration page
Click Regjistrohu (Sign up) at the top right of any Kerko page, or go straight to the registration page.
Choose how to sign up
Google or Facebook creates the account in one click. If you prefer email, fill in your full name (Emri i plotë), email and password twice.
Pick a strong password
Passwords need at least 8 characters. A short sentence you remember beats a single word full of symbols.
Verify your email
Kerko emails you a verification link. Click it and you are signed in automatically.

Verifying your email
Right after you sign up with email, Kerko sends you a message. The account stays locked until you click the link, so nobody can open an account with your email address.

Signing in next time
On the sign-in page you can use your password, Google or Facebook, or skip the password entirely with a Magic Link or a code sent to your email. Më mbaj mend (Remember me) keeps you signed in on that device. On a shared computer, leave it unticked and sign out when you are done.

Frequently asked questions
Does a Kerko account cost anything?
No. Accounts are free for visitors and for business owners.
Why can't I sign in right after registering?
Kerko asks you to verify your email before the first sign-in. Click the link in the email we send you; it is valid for 24 hours.
The verification email never arrived. What should I do?
Check your Spam and Promotions folders. If it isn't there, open the verification page and click "Dërgo email-in përsëri" (send the email again).
Can I sign in with Google instead of a password?
Yes. With Google or Facebook you don't need a separate Kerko password. Just sign in with the same button each time.
