How to verify your business on Kerko
Claim your business on Kerko: which documents you need, how long the review takes and what the verified badge lets you do.

Your business has had a profile on Kerko since the day it was registered with ARBK. Verifying it puts you in charge: you update the opening hours, phone number and photos, invite your team, and customers see a badge that tells them the profile is run by the business itself. In this guide we follow John Doe, owner of the made-up Doe Bakery L.L.C., from the first click to approval.
The claim form and claim pages are in Albanian, so we quote each label as it appears, with a translation.
What you need
- A Kerko account.
- A document that links you to the business, for example the ARBK registration certificate.
- Optional: the business's official email address, which is verified with a code and speeds up the review.
The journey in five steps
Find the business and click "Claim this business"
Search for the business name or NUI (see How to find a business or owner on Kerko) and open its profile. The Claim this business button is at the top right. If you aren't signed in, Kerko sends you to sign-in and then straight back to the form.
Fill in the four-step form
Informacioni Bazë (your position and relationship to the business), Detajet e Kontaktit (business email and phone), Detajet e Kërkesës (why you are claiming it, at least 10 characters) and Rishikimi (review). Then click Dorëzo Kërkesën (Submit claim).
Verify the business email
If you entered a business email, Kerko sends it a code. Type the code on the claim page and the email is marked as verified.
Upload your documents
On the claim page click Zgjidh dokument (Choose document) and upload the certificate or other document. Once uploaded, the claim moves to Në shqyrtim (Under review).
Wait for approval
Our team reviews it within 2 to 3 working days. We notify you on Kerko and by email. Once approved, the business appears in your dashboard.

Steps 3 and 4: the code and your documents
After you submit, the claim page opens. The status starts as Në pritje (Pending) and lists the next steps:

Documents we accept:

Step 5: review and approval
After the upload the status becomes Në shqyrtim (Under review). If we need more, it changes to Nevojitet informacion shtesë (More information needed) and the page shows our instructions. Once approved:

How much does verification cost?
Nothing. Claiming a business and the verified badge are free.
How long does the review take?
Usually 2 to 3 working days after you upload your documents. We notify you on Kerko and by email at every change.
Which documents are accepted?
The ARBK registration certificate, a business licence, a tax certificate, a bank statement or another document that links you to the business. PDF, JPG, PNG, DOC or DOCX.
Can an employee verify the business?
Yes. In the form choose "Punonjës" (employee) or "Përfaqësues" (representative) instead of "Pronar" (owner). We need a document that shows your link to the business.
What happens if my claim is rejected?
The claim page shows the reason. If you think it is a mistake, contact us or send a new claim with the right document.
