Kerko lists thousands of businesses, and this week was about finding the ones you need faster. We added filters that answer everyday questions, short pages for the most searched services and a way to stay informed when a business changes.
Open now and Accepts card
The search page and the filters of the business, service and municipality lists have two new filters: Open now and Accepts card. Open now goes by the opening hours on each business profile and Kosovo time, so it works the same when you open Kerko from abroad.
You can also show only businesses that are Verified, that Have a phone number or that are Woman-owned.

Activities within a category
Category pages now narrow the list by registered activity. Within Food and Hospitality, for example, pick only restaurants, bars or hotels, and see how many businesses each has. Searching by name inside a category or service page now finds only businesses in that category. When a search finds nothing, Kerko suggests what to try.
Pages for the services you look for
The most searched services have their own short page, with the everyday name instead of the registry's long activity name:
- kerko.com/frizer (hairdressers)
- kerko.com/elektricist (electricians)
- kerko.com/hidraulik (plumbers)
- kerko.com/restorante (restaurants)
- kerko.com/barnatore (pharmacies)
There are more, such as dentists, car repair, accountants and vets. Each page lists every registered business for that service, and category pages link to them.
Cleaner names
Business names no longer carry dots, dashes, commas and quotes typed before or around them. Letters outside the Albanian alphabet are written as plain letters, so Đorđe Marković is now Dorde Markovic, while Ç and Ë stay as they are. Names of owners and authorized persons typed in capitals, like ARBEN KRASNIQI, are now written Arben Krasniqi.
Follow a business or a person
Click Follow on a business or person page. When ARBK changes the status, name, municipality, activity or size of a business you follow, or of a business owned or represented by a person you follow, we send you one email that day. Your profile page lists everything you follow and lets you turn the emails off.
For more ways to search, read How to find a business and How to find businesses in your municipality, or start right from the business catalogue.
Frequently asked questions
How does Kerko know whether a business is open now?
From the opening hours on the business profile and Kosovo time, wherever you are. Businesses without opening hours on their profile do not show with this filter.
How often will I get emails about businesses I follow?
At most once a day, and only when ARBK changes something about a business you follow.
How do I stop the follow emails?
On your profile page. It lists everything you follow and lets you turn the emails off.
Why has the way a business name is written changed?
We removed dots, dashes and quotes typed before or around names, and write letters outside the Albanian alphabet as plain letters. Ç and Ë stay as they are.
